The Other Half Of The Story

These are objects from a larger installation comparing the public faces we present with the private realities behind the display. Baseball cards and comic books (normally used to frame and present heroic iconography) are used to show the mundane daily activities of creative minds avoiding work: altered covers feature the subjects surfing the internet, flipping channels on TV, napping, waiting for good news to arrive in the mail, and pouring cup after cup of coffee.
