This series is about how we divide up the “public” and “private” realms when we create and present our social selves. A public library is transformed into a noisy carnival, as family members reveal themselves by “recommending” and passing books, suspended in air by fishing hooks, to each other; private scenes in bathrooms become public, as men with masks, lights and cameras invade and display.
